Built by a Golf Club GM for Clubs Like Yours
Members Hub exists because I'm living the problem it solves.
I'm currently a General Manager at a Golf Club in South Wales. UK, overseeing a club with around 500 members — and like every club, our biggest ongoing challenge wasn't the golf itself, but communication.
We wanted our members to feel informed, included, and connected. But in reality, information was scattered everywhere. Printed fixture booklets were expensive and out of date almost immediately. Emails regularly landed in junk folders.
Noticeboards went unread. WhatsApp messages were limited and quickly lost in chat threads. Despite our best efforts, members still missed important updates — and frustration followed.
I knew there had to be a better way.
What I wanted was simple:
one place where members could access everything that mattered at the club — and a system the club could update easily, instantly, and without hassle or cost.
When I looked into having a bespoke app built, the reality was disappointing. It was expensive, slow, and totally impractical. Every small update meant going back to a developer, waiting, and paying again. That just doesn't work for real clubs, run by busy people.
So I decided to build the solution myself.
Members Hub took around six months to build, working evenings and weekends alongside my role as a GM. It was designed from day one to be simple, affordable, and fully controlled by the club — not by developers or agencies.
Once we implemented Members Hub at club level, the difference was immediate and measurable:
- Member queries dropped significantly
- Rumours and confusion reduced, because factual information was always available in the hub
- Admin time reduced
- 100% of members received club information, instead of us hoping emails or noticeboards were seen
- Most importantly, member retention increased by 68%, because members felt more connected and involved in the club
That outcome is what Members Hub is built around.
Today, I still run a golf club as a General Manager, and Members Hub continues to be shaped by real, day-to-day club needs — not tech trends. It works just as well for smaller clubs as it does for larger ones, because the challenge is the same: clear, consistent communication.
With Members Hub, clubs don't pay to have an app built. They don't wait for updates. They don't need technical skills.
Instead, every club gets its own dashboard, giving them full control of their Members Hub app 24/7. If you can write an email, you can run your Members Hub.
Updates take minutes, not weeks.
Members Hub wasn't created as a software product first.
It was created as a club solution, built from real frustration, real experience, and real results.
